#20 Ouroboros がトミカシリーズに！ / Ouroboros will become to TOMICA series!

1月25日(火)、26(水)に開催されました「TOYフォーラム2011」にて、今年発売されるトミカシリーズの新製品が披露されました。根津がデザイン致しましたOuroborosは、タカラトミー様よりラブコールをいただき、ラインナップに加わることになりました。４月中旬に全国のトミカショップに並びますのでお楽しみに。

The new products of TOMICA series are presented at 'TOY Forum in 2011' on Jan25(tue) and 26(wed). The Ouroboros were selected and become one of the series. Please look forward to appearing at the TOMICA shop in the middle of April.

 

■産業技術大学院大学DSST Program講演
Lecture at AIIT (advanced institute of industrial technology)

2月19日(土)に文部科学省による「産学連携による実践型人材育成事業－専門人材の基盤的教育推進プログラム－」として、産業技術大学院大学が主催するDesign Skill Standard Trial Programにて根津が講演いたします。「知財マネジメント特論・ケーススタディ：デザイン戦略と知的財産権の実際」の講演および、「知財戦略特論」として特許庁の方とパネルディスカッションを行います。

Nezu will give a lecture at the "Design Skill Standard Trial Program"that is organized by AIIT (advanced institute of industrial technology)on Feb.19 (sat).

1月21日(金)より25日(火)までパリにて開催されました Maison et Objet 'now!' では、大勢の方にお越しいただきました。"太陽の透ける位置で時間が分かる日傘"「691236」、"波紋の出るスツール"「jellyfish」共にご好評をいただき感謝致しております。

Maison&Objet had been held from Jan. 21(fri) till 25(tue). Many customers visited our booth and enjoyed the parasol '691236' and the stool 'jellyfish'. We appreciated getting the contact from many customers and medias.

A Clock-Parasol / 太陽で時間のわかる日傘

「おひさまをさけるための日傘だけど、おひさまが好きになってしまいそう。」
普段、太陽がどのように動いているかを考えることはないかもしれませんが、この傘によって、少しだけ空を見上げ、大きな宇宙の動きに思いをはせる心のゆとりを持っていただけたらと考えています。「太陽をめいっぱい楽しめる時計。 時に強すぎる日差しや、急に降り出した雨を しのぐ機能もついています。」

"The parasol is there to block the sun, but it invites you to look for the sun."In daily life you don't pay attention to the sun traveling through the sky, but we wanted to create the moment when you can look up and think upon the dynamic universe.
You can play impromptu astronomy with it. Furthermore, you'll be guarded from the blazing sun or an abrupt shower by the smart boy.

「自然を身近に置くための家具」
LEDと水槽を内蔵したスツール。「座る」という自然な動作で、驚くほど美しい水の波紋が床にうつし出され、あたかも水の上に座っているかのよう。

This is a stool with built-in LED and a water tank. Your natural movement of sitting on it will produce stunningly beautiful ripples; you will feel as if you were seated on the water.

#19 パリ メゾン・エ・オブジェ NOW! 出展 / Exhibit at Maison et Objet 'now!'

いよいよ2010年も残すところ３日となりました。
今年は弊社創設５周年の年となり、多くの方々にお祝いしていただき心から感謝致しております。来年からもまた新たな気持ちで、人やものづくりをつなぐ"creative communicator"として頑張って参りたいと存じます。皆様におかれましても、健やかに良いお年をお迎えになられますようお祈り申し上げます。

パリ　メゾン・エ・オブジェ　NOW!出展
Exhibit at Maison et Objet 'now!'

 

２０１１年１月にパリで開催されます Maison et Objet 'now!'の経済産業省ブース JAPAN DESIGN + に根津が選出されました。
今回は"太陽の透ける位置で時間が分かる日傘"「691236」と"波紋の出るスツール"「Jellyfish」を出展いたします。総合プロデューサー喜多俊之氏のもと、７名のデザイナーによる作品が展示されます。

Nezu was selected for JAPAN DESIGN + booth that is coordinated by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) JAPAN at Maison et Objet 'now!' in Jan. 2011. We will show the "691236" parasol and "Jellyfish" stool. This booth is produced by Mr. Toshiyuki Kita, and 7 designers exhibit their works there.

9月15日(水)、産業技術大学院大学（AIIT）が開催するオープンインスティチュート「デザインミニ塾」において、ものづくりにたずさわる人と人、ものづくりのプロセスとプロセスを「ツナグ」方法などに関し、「ものづくりを元気にするデザイン」というタイトルで講演しました。

Nezu gave a lecture title as "The design that encourages the manufacture" at the "Mini Design School" in AIIT (advanced institute of industrial technology) on Sep.15(Wed).

10月10日(日)、日本工業大学（NIT）にて開催されました「３Ｄ－ＣＡＤプロダクトデザインコンテスト」授賞式にて『発想とモノづくりをツナグ力』というタイトルで講演しました。また審査員として特別賞の授与もさせていただきました。

Nezu gave the lecture title as "The power that connects idea and manufacture" at the awarding ceremony of "3D-CAD product contest" in NIT (Nippon Institute of Technology) and awarded the special prize as a judge on Oct.10(Sun).

武蔵野美術大学　講義
Lectures at MAU (Musashino Art University)

10・12月と武蔵野美術大学（MAU） にて稲田教授と共に『動くかたち』のデザイン実習を行いました。「りんご１個の重さで１０ｍ進むものを制作する」という課題で、学生の皆さんも様々な仕掛けを織り交ぜながら、思い思いのかたちを段ボールで作り上げました。

本日テレビ東京WBS(ワールドビジネスサテライト)で弊社根津がデザインしました日傘「691236」が『トレンドたまご』のコーナーで採り上げられることになりました。先程無事撮影も終わり、番組は今夜23時から放送されます。
昨年11月の「カラクリトウロウ」に引き続き２回目の登場です。是非ご覧ください。

Ouroboros 新製品発表会・試乗会終了
The "Ouroboros" trial run event had been held.

6月に開催しましたOuroborosの新製品発表会・試乗会は、梅雨まっただ中であったにも関わらず、奇跡的にお天気に恵まれ、お越しいただいた方々には、車でもないバイクでもないその操作性や走行感を楽しんでいただくことができました。既に記事掲載されたWEB、雑誌、新聞などをご覧になられた方からの商品問合せや、更なる取材依頼もいただき感謝しております。
試乗会終了後、私も初走行してみました。最初は少し緊張しましたが、だんだん楽しくなり、乗れば乗るほどその面白みを味わうことができました。今度はぜひ街乗りに挑戦してみたいものです。

The press conference and trial run event for the reverse trike "Ouroboros" had been held on fine day in July. The participants enjoyed the Ouroboros's "driving and riding" that is different from the four- wheel cars and two-wheel motorcycles. We appreciate getting the contact from customers and medias who were reading the articles on the webs, magazines and newspapers.
I also tried to ride it for the first time after the event. The more I ride it, the more impressed I became even I was keyed up at the beginning. So I'd like to ride in the city next time.

Autodesk Design Innovation Forum 2010

"creative garden BILBAO & creative library BUCHAREST inspired by TOYOTA"

トヨタ自動車企業価値創造室が手掛ける「感性と創造性開拓のための空間」が、昨年のシカゴ・バンコクにつづき、スペインはビルバオ、ルーマニアはブカレストでオープンしました。その空間を演出するにあたり、根津が什器を中心とした提案を致しました。

"The space for sensibility and creative inspiration" was produced by Toyota Motor Corporation's Corporate Value Creation Department in Bilbao, Spain and Bucharest, Rumania following the Chicago and Bangkok. Nezu has designed the space mainly using the display fixtures.
