#15 Autodesk Design Innovation Forum 2010 講演, INTERIOR LIFESTYLE TOKYO 出展

一気に夏を感じさせる気候になったかと思うと、大雨だったりとお天気には振り回されてばかりの５月ですね。さて、znug designでは６,７月と様々なイベントが目白押しです。ご興味のおありになる方は、是非ご参加ください。

[1] Autodesk Design Innovation Forum 2010 講演
Autodesk社主催のセミナーで、弊社根津が原田車両設計の原田社長をゲストに迎え講演いたします。これからの時代に向けた設計やデザインの方向性、新しい設計やデザインがもたらすビジネスチャンスなどの訴求を目的としたフォーラムです。同日午前中には、建築家の安藤忠雄氏、工業デザイナーの奥山清行氏による基調講演も予定されています。少数ではありますが席が残っておりますので、ご希望の方は下記URLよりお早めにお申し込みください。

Nezu will give a lecture with Mr. Harada, Harada Vehicle Design at Autodesk Design Innovation Forum 2010.There are keynote addresses by Mr. Tadao Ando, who is one of the most famous architect and Mr. Ken Okuyama, who is one of the most famous product designer on that day too. #14 浜松楽器博物館 『天空ホール』 / "Tenku Hall"

新緑が美しい季節になりました。晴天に恵まれたGW、みなさまはどのように過ごされましたでしょうか？さて今回は、春の訪れと共に新しくに生まれた空間をご紹介させていただきたいと思います。とても素敵な場所ですので、お近くの方は是非足を運んでいただければと思います。

We’d like to introduce a space that has been given a new life this spring. We hope you can visit this wonderful space.

『天空ホール』
東洋最大を誇る「浜松楽器博物館(静岡県浜松市)」には、タムタムという巨木をくり抜いた太鼓を中央に配した吹き抜けのコンサートスペースがあります。今回、銀座資生堂ビルや表参道ヒルズなど数多くのプロジェクトを手掛けるサウンドスペースコンポーザー(有)エル・プロデュースの井出氏プロデュースの下、この空間をよりよい音響環境に作り上げるべく、弊社 根津が音響を反射するオブジェの企画・デザインをさせていただきました。
大きな鳥のオブジェをタムタムをとりまくように配置することで、今まで上部に逃げていた音が客席に跳ね返るようになり、お客様により豊かな音色を届けることができるようになりました。完成した空間で、嶋館長の素晴らしいリコーダー演奏もあり、井出氏からは「空間自体が楽器に変化した」というお言葉をいただきました。

"Tenku (heavens, sky) Hall"
The Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka prefecture, is known for the largest collection in Asia. It has a concert hall featuring a Tumtum, a drum made from a hollowed-out giant tree trunk, which is placed under the atrium in the center of the hall. The project was launched to make it a better sound environment under the direction of Mr. Ide of the El Produce, a “sound space composer”, who has been working on the major public and commercial spaces such as Ginza Shiseido Building, Omotesando Hills, etc. The znug design’s Nezu designed and produced the object which functions as a sound reflector for the project.
These bird-shaped reflectors are placed around the Tumtum, making it possible to deliver the rich sound to the audience rather than letting it absorbed in the atrium. At the re-opening of the Tenku Hall, the museum director Mr. Shima played a recorder, which beautiful sound inspired Mr. Ide to say “the space itself has transformed into a music instrument.”

井出氏がアドバイザーをされている(株)光城精工の新しいCI（ロゴ、マークのデザイン）とハイエンドオーディオ用の電源装置につきましても、弊社根津がデザインディレクションをさせていただいております。同社の製品はオーディオ銘機賞など数々の受賞歴を誇ります。

Nezu is also enjoying the opportunities to direct the design projects for the Kojo Technology, where Mr. Ide is involved as an advisor. The projects include the new corporate identity design and the power device design for the high-end audio systems. The Kojo Technology has been awarded many times for their excellence in creating outstanding audio systems.

“Inter BEE 2009”に出展された「KJ-12」、「5 ELEMENTS」については、”機能をカタチに体現する”ことを目指し、電気の流れや機器の機能を明確にお客様に感じ取っていただけるようにデザイン致しました。現在製品化に向け取り組み中です。

The “KJ-12” and the “5 ELEMENTS” seen at the Inter BEE 2009 exhibition were designed to “embody the function.” The design allows customers to clearly see and feel the function of the device. They are currently in process of being produced and manufactured.

エル・プロデュースの井出祐昭氏をフィーチャーした番組「幸福音～知られざる『音』の世界～」が6月28日22:00～WOWOW 191chにて放送されます。浜松楽器博物館の天空ホールについても取り上げられる予定ですので、ぜひご覧ください。

Mr. Ide of the El Produce special program on June 28th from 22:00. The Tenku Hall will featured on that program too.

#13 Designers Forum 講演 / Lecture at the Designers Forum

昨年12月に住商情報システム(株)主催のDesigners Forum にて根津が講演いたしました『発想ツールとしてのAlias ～イイカゲンモデリングのススメ～』の内容が日経BP社のTech-onに掲載されました。

Nezu's lecture "Alias as an inspirational tool / How to do a ballpark modeling" from the SCS (Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation) Designers Forum held last December is archived on the website "Tech-on" by Nikkei Business Publication, Inc.

 

昨年「グッドデザイン賞 2009」を受賞した「サーモス社JMY」が掲載されたイヤーブック「ジャパンデザイン／グッドデザインアワード　2009-2010」が2月13日に発行されました。(P110に掲載)

The “JAPAN DESIGN / GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2009-2010” yearbook was issued on February 13th. It includes the Good Design Award 2009 winner, THERMOS JMY. (on P110)

 

昨年オートスタッフ末広と共同開発を行いました、リヴァース・トライク「Ouroboros(ウロボロス)」が2月15日発行の『別冊MOTORCYCLIST』に掲載されました。

The reverse trike Ouroboros the znug design and Auto Staff SUEHIRO co-developed appeared in the “MOTORCYCLIST extra edition” magazine #387, issued on February 15th.

 

昨年 日本工業大学において記者発表致しました「大型ヒューマノイド」が 1月23日発行の『アスキー・ドットPC 』および、2月15日発行の『ロボコンマガジン』に掲載されました。

The full-scale humanoid robot that was released last year at the press conference at NIT, Nippon Institute of Technology appeared in the "ASCII dot PC" magazine #142 issued on January 23rd and "ROBOCON Magazine" issued on February 15th.

#12 「感性と創造性開拓のための空間」 / "the space for sensibility and creative inspiration"

znug designは今年もより多くの方と出会い、皆さまと共に新たな価値を創造し、世の中に発信して参りたいと思います。そして今まで出来なかった新たな取組みにもチャレンジしていこうと考えております。

またおかげさまで、今年７月に会社設立５周年を迎えます。５周年イベントも現在企画しておりますのでご期待ください。

昨年、トヨタ自動車企業価値創造室が手掛ける「感性と創造性開拓のための空間」が、10月にシカゴ、12月にバンコクでオープンし、その空間を演出するにあたり、根津が什器を中心とした提案を致しました。

Last year, "the space for sensibility and creative inspiration" was planned by
Toyota Motor Corporation's Corporate Value Creation Department and produced in Chicago in October, and then in Bangkok in December. Nezu has designed the space mainly using the display fixtures.

#11 「大型ヒューマノイド」 / the full-scale humanoid robot

12/19(土) 日本工業大学において「大型ヒューマノイド」の記者発表会が開催されました。このロボットは、日本工業大学が、教育カリキュラムにものづくり企業や工業デザイナーとのコラボレーションを組み込み、ロボット開発のプロセスに学生を参加させることで、柔軟な創造性を身につけたエンジニアを養成することを目指し、(株)ZMPと共同開発を行ったものです。
学生公募によるアイデアを基に、弊社 根津がデザインを、外装の設計制作を原田車両設計(株)が手掛けております。

また同日、「ものづくり環境学科」と「創造システム工学科」の２つの新学科の学生及び一般高校生を対象とした講演会が開催され、根津は「ロボットって何だろう。。- 感性の世界と先端技術 -」というタイトルで講演いたしました。

The press conference for the full-scale humanoid robot was held at NIT, Nippon Institute of Technologyon Saturday, December 19th. This humanoid robot project was launched by NIT, co-produced by ZMP Inc. In order to raise creative engineers with flexible minds at NIT, the students are to participate in the robot development projects as a part of the education program, collaborating with manufacture companies and industrial designers.
This robot was designed by the znug design's Nezu, and engineered and manufactured by Harada Vehicle Design, based on the idea selected in the public student competition held earlier.

Nezu also gave the lecture titled as "What is a robot? Cognitive World and Leading Technology" as a part of the lecture forum held on the same day for the students of the NIT's newly developed two departments, Department of Products Engineering and Environmental Management and Department of Innovative Systems Engineering, as well as public high school students.

大型ヒューマノイドが、そのデザインによって人との間にどのようなコミュニケーションを持ち得るか、という観点でいくつかのアイデアを考察。また、大学において教材として使用されるため、メンテナンス性や壊れにくさにも配慮しながら、最終デザインにまとめた。

We developed the ideas focusing on how design could facilitate and reinforce the different ways of communication between the humanoid robots and us humans. The ease of maintenance and durability were also taken into consideration to finalize the design, as it is meant to be used at NIT for on-going education.

LIGHTING OBJET 2009

#9 サーモス JMY iFデザイン賞 受賞 / THERMOS JMY has received the iF Design Award 2010

12月に入り、クリスマスイルミネーションが華やかになって参りました。みなさまにおかれましては、日々慌ただしくお過ごしのことと思います。さて、今回は３つのニュースをご案内させていただきたいと思います。

 

サーモス JMY iFデザイン賞 受賞
THERMOS JMY has received the iF Design Award 2010

今年10月に「グッドデザイン賞 2009」を受賞いたしましたサーモス社の「ケータイマグ」がドイツの「iFデザイン賞2010」を受賞することができました。日本国内に留まらず、海外においても評価を得ることができました。

THERMOS JMY has received the Germany's iF Design Award 2010. This is the second award following the Good Design Award 2009 announced in October. It earned an international reputation beyond Japan.

 

ウロボロス　デイトナ掲載
The Ouroboros will be featured in the “Daytona” magazine

11月に完成いたしましたリヴァース・トライク「Ouroboros(ウロボロス)」がCar Styling #193 (10月19日発行)に続き、12月6日発行のDaytonaの巻頭特集に取り上げられます。是非ご一読下さい。

The reverse trike motorcycle Ouroboros, the znug design's project completed in November, will be headline featured in December 6th issue of the Daytona magazine. In the past, it was also featured in #193 (October 19th) issue of the Car Styling magazine. Please take a look.

Although the 3D modeling is often considered to be a detailed, final design process near the manufacture, his lecture focuses on using the highly sophisticated 3D modeling program Alias as an inspirational tool in the early stage of the design.
